Retailytics counts who reached the shelf. The POS counts what sold.
What it handles
- Counts entrances across door lines.
- Gives each section a hit rate, average dwell and the share of visits lasting 8 seconds or more.
- Mark a display a week early and it reads the offer's lift every day, against the same weekdays before and adjusted for store traffic.
- Shows whether interest in a launch shelf rises or fades, from launch day.
What it hands to a person
- Sales and revenue come from the store's POS.
- No face recognition, and no age, gender or mood estimation.
- Counts depend on camera angle, lighting and crowding; in a pilot, hand-count one door for an hour to check.
Retailytics runs on a store PC on the same network as the cameras.

Five questions buyers ask about Retailytics, answered plainly.
Does it tell me whether sales went up?
No. Sales live in your POS. Retailytics counts the shoppers who reached a display and how long they stayed, which is what the brand or head office that paid for the display wants to see.
How is lift calculated?
Mark the display a week before the offer. Lift compares visitors on offer days with the same weekdays before, adjusted for the change in total store visitors over the same period.
Does it track individual shoppers?
No. There is no face recognition and no age, gender or mood estimation. Shoppers are numbered dots that get a new number each visit, and routes are counted, not people.
How accurate is it?
No accuracy figure is published, because counts depend on camera angle, lighting and crowding. In a pilot we recommend hand-counting one door for an hour and comparing it with Retailytics.
What does it cost?
It is sold on a monthly, yearly or perpetual license, quoted on request. Licenses activate offline from an installation ID and a key file.
